Permits hanging over the edge of a vessel, with heating elements that are contained in the coil section of the element. This concentrates heat at the bottom of your vessel. These units are ideal for heating compatible liquids in laboratory and industrial environments.

Utility type immersion heaters

Model 300 / 400 / 500 utility type immersion heaters are Ideal for use within industrial or labortory environments for heating compatible liquids. The heating coils are concentrated within the circular element located at the lower end of the device; By locating the heat source at the bottom of the tank prevents excess heat energy from escaping an open vessel.

  • Sensitive thermal probe protected against mechanical damage.
  • "Pilot light" indicator shows "ON" when unit is heating (specific units).
  • Supplied with a standard length 6' 3-wire grounded cordset.
  • Ratings 550W. or 1500W 115VAC.
  • Differential: ± 1°F in a circulated bath.
  • Various element lengths & configurations available based upon wattage requirement

 

 

Please Note
  • Adjustment knob is set with the "off" position at room temp.
  • Circulation of tank liquid is reccomended for even heat distribution
  • Differential: ± 3°F in a circulated bath.
